Star Cinema has just released the official trailer of The Trial starring Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barretto, and John Lloyd Cruz.
In the video, Cruz plays Ronald, a mentally-incapacitated adult who's yet to graduate as an elementary student despite his mature age. Although mentally-challenged, his heart beats normally as of an adult man and attracted to his teacher played by Jessy Mendiola
Until one fateful day that changed their lives.
"Ronald raped his teacher." Richard Gomez and Gretchen Barretto are married couple who play lawyer and psychologist respectively.
The Trial also stars Jessy Mendiola, Sylvia Sanchez, Benjamin Alves, and Ms. Vivian Velez under the direction of award-winning director Chito Roño.
The movie is set to open October 15, 2014.
